What we collect
For your account: your name, email address, password (stored only as a one-way hash), and settings such as your time zone. For your events: the details you enter, the designs you create, and the guest details you add.
Guest information
Names, email addresses and phone numbers you add are used to deliver your invitation and to record replies. They belong to your event and are not used for our own marketing, shared with other hosts, or sold to anyone.
Analytics
We count invitation views per day, and record whether an invitation email was opened or clicked, so you can see how your invitation is doing. Visits are counted in aggregate and IP addresses are stored only as a truncated one-way hash, used to limit abuse. We do not track guests across other websites and we do not run third-party advertising trackers.
Cookies
We set a session cookie so you stay signed in, an optional "remember me" cookie if you ask for one, and a security token that protects forms. There are no advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can export everything we hold about you, and delete your account, from your account settings. Deleting removes your events and their guest lists. You can turn RSVP notifications, event reminders and marketing email on or off independently.
Keeping it safe
Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Sessions expire, and changing your password signs out every other device. Uploaded images are re-encoded on the server, which also strips location data from photographs before anyone else can see them.
